A Creative Concept

Persepolis Project

This was a mock social campaign based on the book Persepolis. The idea of the campaign was to bring feminine and hygiene products to Iran (circa pre-Covid 2020). This campaign was created during 2020 and was based on the political climate at the time. The images were created to motivate women of privilege in countries like America, Canada, and varying European countries to get involved and donate. The name “A Thousand Persepolis’” for the campaign, comes from the idea that Persepolis is not the only girl who has had to or will have to change her entire life under the current Iranian regime. It is a campaign focused on female empowerment and human liberation. With that being said it’s goal is not to revolutionize women’s rights in Iran as that was a losing task for the political climate at the time. The goal was to meet women where they were at and do what was possible to progress women’s right with what was available.
